Diwali is just a week away. You might have started Shopping, gifts, decoration, get-togethers that are at the top of the to-do-list for all. But after years of celebrating Diwali and exchanging gifts, buying new clothes, having smiles that glitter. Homeless people also smile by watching your kids playing on the streets, watching people in new clothes, and they sleep cheering the nonsense sounds of crackers, all that reminds them of their past cherishing times.
Diwali is an excellent time this year to start thinking about helping other people, especially the homeless, who need support and care. This could include providing food & clothing for families to enable them to experience the Diwali festival with a smile. Giving warmth, love, and hope. That’s what Diwali should be all about.
While getting down the street with that oh-so-gorgeous saree or that shining handbag are tantalizing options to carry, this year, try to “Gift” yourself something more lasting, something more innate. Gift yourself the satisfaction that you need the most on this Diwali.
Let’s gift the homeless people with warm meals, sarees, dhotis & blankets this year! Yes, Redoact takes this initiative to celebrate a green-Diwali with homeless people with sweets, happiness, and true satisfaction of self-gift this year!
Just imagining your house lit up with lamps and friends all around this is happiness but helping the homeless is satisfaction. You don’t have to suffocate your pockets to feed them, just a small price of 500 rs will make their day the best and most delightful than ever!
Join Redoact in making this Diwali the one where everyone gets a little less self-indulgent, more happy and generous by giving a little and receiving a lot of blessings. It not just the money, but the act of giving. Your kids or the next generation will also learn humanity. What else can you do to celebrate this Dewali?
Be a volunteer for a day: There can’t be any better way to celebrate and teach your sons/daughters about giving it back to society. Be a volunteer for Redoact and spend the day with homeless people and find sweets in your heart, bursting crackers of happiness.
Donate 500 for Meals, Clothes & Blanket: The best part, although you are gifting the homeless, you have granted yourself; the true gift of “inner peace”. What else could be better?
Redoact Planning to donate a Minimum of 50 Homeless during this festival, join hands with us
